Lifesaving home fire safety advice for Nationwide customers in East Kilbride

East Kilbride shoppers were advised on fire safety at an event in Nationwide Building Society in conjunction with Scottish Fire and Service Rescue Service.

Community Safety Advocate, Murray Donaghey, came out to support the local branch by offering customers tips on keeping their home safe.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are currently offering free Home Fire Safety Visits which spot possible fire hazards, devise fire escape plans and provide information about smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms.
