Liel Abada could miss a MONTH of action for Celtic after picking up a quad injury on Israel duty. The winger was forced to pull out of a training session and reports in his homeland suggested he would at least miss their qualifier with Romania on Saturday night.
That was followed up in the UK on Saturday morning with another report claiming Abada had been sent back to Celtic to determine the extent of the problem. He's set to play no part for Israel this month and is also set to miss a major chunk of action for Brendan Rodgers.
The Scottish Sun say he will be out for approximately a month due to the quad problem. That timeline rules him out of at least their next three league games, as well as their Champions League opener with Feyenoord on Tuesday, September 19.
It also means their home clash with Lazio, set for October 4, is also at major risk, as is their league game with Kilmarnock three days later.
