Christmas is fast approaching and shoppers across the UK are stocking up ahead of December 25th. Lidl along with other major supermarkets have adjusted its operating hours for the festive period, which is why it's a good idea to plan ahead if you're planning to grab some last-minute bits.
Lidl remains open in London and the South East, which is now under strict Tier 4 rules announced by the government last weekend.
The chain - part of the essential UK retailers allowed to continue operating during lockdown restrictions - is running reduced hours on Christmas Eve.
So last-minute shoppers will need to pop into stores earlier to avoid disappointment. Usually stores open at 7am and close at 11pm in England, and 10pm in Wales and Scotland.
