On Wednesday (16 October), it was announced Liam had died after falling from the third floor of a hotel. Despite being together for a holiday, Kate was not with him when the tragic events unfolded.
Liam and Kate were spending time together in Argentina and had gone to a concert by One Direction bandmate Niall Horan just days earlier.
However, Kate took to social media saying after two weeks away and travelling with Liam, she was desperate to get back to her home in Florida.
