Scotland goalkeeper Liam Kelly joked he would have RETIRED if he had saved France superstar Kylian Mbappe's penalty. But Kelly almost made himself a hero when he faced up to Mbappe. After making his debut Kelly was in high spirits despite the defeat - and admitted he was frustrated not to keep out the penalty having guessed the correct direction.
Kelly told Viaplay Sports: "It's not ideal. No, I kind of had an idea he was going to that way. It's just annoying I got a wee bit closer to it."Pressed on what it was like to have Mbappe lining up to take the penalty, the shot-stopped quipped he came within touching distance of hanging ip his gloves: "I just thought if I save this I am probably going to retire. "It's so surreal.
