Ex-Oasis tour manager Iain Robertson has spilled the beans on memorable chase after Liam Gallagher through the streets of Brighton.Iain, who had previously managed music legends like George Harrison and Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols, found himself as Oasis's tour manager, accompanying them around the globe.In conversation with Dodge Woddall on his podcast, Iain recounted a hectic morning trying to keep up with Liam Gallagher post-meeting Paula Yates, co-presenter of the BBC's Jools Holland Show, where Oasis had performed weeks earlier.Iain shared that Paula seemed immediately taken with Liam, making a beeline for him after their show appearance, though nothing ensued at the time.

However, when Oasis later played in Brighton, Paula was there, and as the band prepared to leave for Middlesborough, Liam had other ideas.

Iain remembered: "Liam was gently kind of shading back from me, and as I turn around, he's heading off in the opposite direction and I've gone, 'woah, woah, woah! ' and he starts running," reports the Mirror. "So now I'm chasing Liam through the streets of f*****g Brighton and he ends up at a hotel and at the front door of the hotel is Paula Yates.

And Liam says, 'mate, I'll make my own way to Middlesborough' and I said, 'there's not a f*****g chance in hell that's going to happen'.
