Liam Gallagher is throwing his support behind the NHS and key workers tackling the coronavirus pandemic and putting on a free gig for them later in the year.

Wanted to show his appreciation for our healthcare staff, Liam told fans on Instagram he is ‘honoured’ to announce he’ll be playing at London’s O2 in October.

Alongside a poster that teased Liam’s gig, alongside special guests, the former Oasis rocker wrote: ‘It’s an honour to announce that I will be doing a gig for the NHS and careworkers at London’s TheO2 on October 29th. ‘They do an incredible job, we are very lucky to have them.

LG x #ThankYouNHS.’ It’s not yet been confirmed which artists will be joining Liam on the night. He’s not the only star to send his support to the NHS
