Lewis Capaldi has been named the music artist most loved by dogs, according to new heart rate research. The Scottish crooner's songs were found most likely to relax pooches and send them to sleep.
Behavioural experts at Dog Friendly Retreats hooked up 30 canines to monitors to in a bid to see what music made their heart rates drop.
Lewis, whose debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent is on course to be the biggest UK seller for a second year, beat the likes of George Ezra and Bob Marley to the top spot.
