Lewis Capaldi has announced that he is cancelling all of his shows and commitments through June 24. The 26-year-old singer will not perform until his highly anticipated set at the 2023 Glastonbury Festival. Lewis said in a statement on social media that he has struggled “both mentally and physically” in the last few months due to his busy work schedule.
He will be taking time off to “be Lewis from Glasgow for a bit” and focus on rest and recovery. It’s been such an incredible time leading into this new album, and seeing all of the support from everyone has been beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of.
That said, the last few months have been full on both mentally and physically, I haven’t been home properly since Christmas and at the moment I’m struggling to get to grips with it all.
