Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

Leon Balogun is set to undergo a crash course in all things Rangers. Steven Gerrard insists the next few days are "vital" in educating the centre-back on his new side's style of play with the Premiership kick-off looming this weekend.

Balogun impressed his manager at Tuesday's training session and Gerrard believes the former Brighton star has all the tools to succeed at Ibrox.Gerrard told Rangers TV: "He was very comfortable in today's session.

It will take a few days for him to settle in and get used to the players."We also want to use this time, even away from the training ground, to show him what we do tactically, in and out of possession."The next few days are going to be vital in terms of his settling-in period."But his profile suits.
