Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has admitted Alfredo Morelos' future is out of his control after his side were knocked out of the Europa League by Bayer Leverkusen at the last-16 stage on Thursday.
The Gers were facing an uphill task after they lost the first leg 3-1 at Ibrox in March, and they were defeated 1-0 on the night in Germany to send them crashing out 4-1 on aggregate.
Morelos - who played 77 minutes of the game before being substituted - is being linked with a move to French side Lille, and Rangers recently completed the signings of strikers Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten as what many feel will be replacements for the player.
