Leah Remini gave a big thumbs up to the Golden Globes host Jerrod Carmichael on Tuesday after he referenced a controversy close to her heart.The 35-year-old comedian delivered jokes during the ceremony aimed at Top Gun: Maverick star Tom Cruise, who had previously returned his Globes to protest the Globes' lack of Black voters, while also referencing Scientology leader David Miscavige and his wife Shelly Miscavige.Shelly has been alleged to be missing and has not been seen in public since August 2007, though police have been satisfied that she is not missing.Remini — who previously filed a missing persons report for the long-unseen Shelly — tweeted her support for Carmichael's joke, which occurred just before he introduced members of Top Gun: Maverick's cast.
