The lawyer for Harry Dunn’s alleged killer has spoken to the Foreign Office, seeking to work towards a “resolution.” It’s understood Amy Jeffress (CORR), who represents Anne Sacoolas reached out to Foreign Office officials in recent weeks.
It’s claimed Ms Sacoolas is eager to return to Britain to meet with Mr Dunn’s parents, Charlotte Charles and Tim Dunn - but will only do so if she’s not at risk of arrest.
The Foreign Office told Ms Jeffress any issues relating to the legal side of the case - including any attempt to quash the charge her client is facing - would be a matter for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
