‘Law & Order: SVU’s Octavio Pisano Making Feature Directorial Debut With Drama ‘Wet Under Blue Sky’

deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Octavio Pisano (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) has wrapped production on his feature directorial debut, Wet Under Blue Sky, a boxing drama for which he wrote the script, in which he also stars.
The film follows a fading boxing champion (Pisano) who fights to hold onto his legacy, his family, and his sanity — until the hardest punch comes from within.
Pisano exec produced under his production company Earthside Entertainment, along with Gavin O’Connor (The Accountant), Evan Wolf Buxbaum, and Joanna Naugle (The Bear), who’s also serving as the film’s editor.
Carissa Stewart produced the pic, shot between New York and New Jersey. It’s expected to make the rounds on the festival circuit this season.
