Thania Garcia Lauryn Hill is putting a halt to her anniversary tour after sustaining a vocal injury that has caused her to suffer from the nightly use of a numbing steroid.
The five-time Grammy winner explained she was taking Prednisone for her vocal strain to get through the 17-date tour that has been postponed to an unannounced time.
Hill took to Instagram to explain what led to her making the decision: She writes, “As many of you may know, I’ve been battling serious vocal strain for the past month.
I made it through each show by taking prescribed prednisone, but this can be detrimental to the body when taken in large amounts over long periods of time.
