The actor will play soldier Park Tae-joo, who is up for the death sentence in his role in a presidential assassination in 1979.The film is expected to be released this August, according to distributor NEW.
Aside from Lee, The Land of Happiness will also star Captivating the King actor Jo Jung-suk as lawyer Jung In-hoo.Lee Sun-kyun was found dead at the age of 48 on December 27, 2023 in the Jongno District of Seoul, South Korea.
