An incident sparked a large police presence outside a takeaway and shop in Harpurhey on Thursday evening (June 23). A cordon was erected after police arrived amid unconfirmed reports of a 'fight'.
The incident reportedly happened earlier in the evening, at Tavistock Square. A large police presence remained at the scene until around 8.30pm.
Pictures show numerous police vehicles standing by the cordon, with bloodied tissue also seen on the floor within the blocked off area.
Further details on the incident or the nature of any injuries are yet to be confirmed by Greater Manchester Police.
