Police rushed to a street in Droylsden on Wednesday after a 'disturbance' involving a 'solvent'. The incident broke out on Manchester Road, at around 1.30pm (July 6).
Officers cordoned off the area temporarily as enquiries were carried out at the scene. Paramedics treated the two men involved, but they were later discharged, and it is not thought any of the injuries sustained were serious.
Fire crews also made their way to the scene to support police, after the solvent was used. The substance involved has not been disclosed by GMP. The North West Ambulance Service confirmed they treated two males at the scene, near Edge Lane tram stop, who were then discharged.
