Lanarkshire student builds on success to take gold at construction competition

A Lanarkshire college student has won gold at a prestigious SkillBuild competition.East Kilbride-based South Lanarkshire College Roof Slating and tiling student Jordan Maley came out on top at the construction skills competition.

SkillBuild often dubbed the ‘skills olympics’, is delivered by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) in partnership with WorldSkills UK and offers a chance for trainees to compete in a bid to be crowned winner of their chosen trade.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
