The prospect of joining this exclusive list is filling the 36-year-old from Hamilton with much excitement, as she looks forward to achieving her mammoth goal, one that has been 10 years in the making.In just under eight weeks time, Alison hopes to add another marathon medal to her impressive collection, which will be accompanied by a special recognition medal awarded for completion of the six major races.She has already smashed marathons in London, New York, Boston, Chicago and Berlin in recent years, but Alison imagines her final run in Japan will be the first time she doesn't check her watch as she finishes - such is the magnitude of simply completing the collective feat.
