She’s done some epic fundraising for the last 12 months and has raised over £3000. We’d never have expected that and we don’t expect it from any of our parents.“As a result the cadets have benefitted from new clothing, a discounted Christmas party and we will soon be investing in new learning equipment too, as well as a weekend away.“Our camps are subsidised by the MOD but all the stuff we have within the unit and any kit or trips we go on, all of that we have to self-fundraise.

Claire took it upon herself to do a little bit more for us, and it’s incredible.“We have 29 cadets and Claire raised so much that we were able to give all of them new polo shirts, softshells and hoodies, and t-shirts for under their kit.
