Lanarkshire locals urged to step up to raise cash for diabetes charity

A sponsored step challenge which raises vital funds for leading charity Diabetes UK returns this summer – and a call has gone out for people from Lanarkshire to sign up.

The One Million Step Challenge, sponsored by Fitbit, runs between July 1 and September 30 and tasks participants with completing a massive one million steps over three months – around 10,000 a day.Participants can take on the challenge from their own doorstep, at their own pace.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
