Lanarkshire duo take on 24-hour fitness challenge for suicide prevention charity

A dynamic Wishaw duo are taking on a monster fitness challenge in aid of a Wishaw-based suicide prevention charity.Avryl Henry, 33, and 32-year-old Lyndsay McManus will be taking on the lung-bursting 24 hour workout at Rivals Gym in the town in aid of Chris’s House.The pair will start at midday on Friday and will be on the go until noon on Saturday with a little help from friends along the way.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

While we are doing the challenge at Rivals the support from other gyms in Wishaw has been great.“We have the guys from Protein Jakes coming down to help us out and there has been a lot of people who are wanting to do a session with us.”Taking on such a challenge for the suicide prevention charity is a cause close to Avryl’s heart.Five years ago, the 33-year-old was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and has credited hours spent at the gym as
