Lanarkshire club to host disco fundraiser for Ukrainian charity

Airdrie Working Men's Club is doing its bit for the people of Ukraine by hosting a nostalgia-flavoured charity night.The town centre venue is inviting people along to its 'Back to the 70s & 80s Disco' on Friday, April 8.People will be able to boogie the night away on the dancefloor - and all proceeds from the event will go towards the Chernobyl Children's Lifeline.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

A statement on the charity's website reads: "We work primarily in the northern regions of Ukraine that are being badly affected by the current conflict and have no political affiliation.
