Lanarkshire charity who help people's mental health through music launch new group sessions

A Lanarkshire charity that supports people's mental health through music has launched more meet-ups at a new location. Local group 'Fool On' are now hosting events in Hamilton and are inviting new members to come along.The sessions offer free music lessons including how to play guitar, bass, piano and singing.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

They are hoping to raise more awareness of what they do and branch out more.Around 10 volunteers run workshops and teach music to up to 80 locals attending every week.Last year, the group hosted an evening of live music and entertainment which raised lots of funds to help them carry out their fantastic work in supporting the wellbeing of hundreds in the community.Stuart Doig who runs Fool On told Lanarkshire Live: "We've always wanted to branch out as much as we could.
