A Lanarkshire optometrist who has given the gift of sight to tens of thousands of African children through his life-changing charity has returned to help poverty-stricken children in Kenya.Sean Walls and Sight Aid International have been carrying out eye screening camps in the country where they have conducted around 48,000 eye tests and provided medicines and spectacles in some of the poorest areas of Kenya since 2009.With the Covid pandemic putting the charity’s vital work on hold, East Kilbride-based charity Sight Aid International is now fully operational again with four eye screening projects conducted in Kenya in the last six weeks.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
