Lanarkshire charity joins with Celtic foundation to provide winter warmth to the needy ahead of Christmas

A Lanarkshire charity has been able to provide much-needed warmth to the needy this winter. The Lightburn Elderly Association Project, based in Cambuslang, delivered Winter Warmer packs to more than 80 of its most vulnerable clients and volunteers thanks to Age Scotland and the Celtic FC Foundation.

The charity was nominated by Age Scotland to receive the packs from the Foundation because of its work with older people throughout South Lanarkshire.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
