Lanarkshire arts group celebrates 10th anniversary

A popular Lanarkshire arts and crafts group is celebrating its 10th anniversary – growing from just one original class to its current wide range led by expert tutors and attended by more than 160 youngsters each week.Make and Create Arts, based in Airdrie, was founded in 2012 by new Gray’s art school sculpture graduate Hannah Robinson and began with a single weekly drawing class for primary-aged pupils.It has expanded in the decade since to offer 15 sessions per week including a range of crafts such as model making and sewing, plus writing, film making, photography and music, all led by a team of experts sharing their skills and industry experience.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
