Pupils from East Kilbride schools showcase project to celebrate new town anniversary

A Lanarkshire high school hosted a showcase of a project aimed at marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the new town of East Kilbride.The event at Calderglen High School shared pupils' learning across a range of subjects and was attended by members of the local community.Pupils from all year groups at Calderglen were joined by pupils from the feeder primaries within the high school's cluster.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

And at the showcase, former East Kilbride News reporter and TV star, Lorraine Kelly, who was a pupil at Claremont High was able to share her own experience of growing up in East Kilbride, with a short video she had kindly prepared.
