Lana Del Rey has once again tried to clarify her controversial comments as she accused critics of taking her message out of context and trying to paint her as a ‘racist’.

The singer posted a lengthy Instagram video on her profile in which she spent nearly seven minutes attempting to explain why she made her headline-grabbing post.

The 34-year-old sparked backlash with an Instagram message last week in which she seemingly called out singers – mainly women of color – including Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat for getting to sing about ‘f***ing and cheating’ while she apparently gets accused of glamorising abuse.
