As Super Bowl LIX prepared to kick off in New Orleans, Lady Gaga serenaded the French Quarter. Donned in all white, the 2x Grammy winner sat at a piano on a stage in the middle of the street as she performed her single ‘Hold My Hand’ from the soundtrack of Top Gun: Maverick (2022).

Gaga’s pregame concert came after she headlined the Super Bowl LI halftime show in 2017. This year’s game will feature a halftime show headlined by Kendrick Lamar with SZA, as well as Jon Batiste performing the National Anthem.

Although Tom Cruise’s ears must have burning during the Top Gun soundtrack moment, he did not make an appearance during Gaga’s set.

The 4x Oscar nominee is expected to make an appearance at this year’s game in New Orleans, where the Philadelphia Eagles are playing two-time defending champs, the Kansas City Chiefs.
