The actress, who plays Tiffany Butcher in the BBC One soap, quit Instagram after The Sun Online published the picture, though she has since reemerged on TikTok.
Former soap star Kym - who starred in ITV1's Coronation Street until last year - has now had her say on the incident. Kym wrote in her OK!
magazine column: "This was a really silly thing to do. We all make mistakes and do things wrong, and hopefully this is something Maisie will learn from as she's only 19.
