Kylie Jenner has donated $500,000 to a cancer hospital after recently being subjected to criticism regarding a friend’s GoFundMe.
The drama came after the makeup guru, whose company is reportedly worth over a billion dollars, shared a crowdfunding page and was forced to explain why after being branded tone-deaf.
According to her, the original goal was $10,000, and when Kylie donated $5,000 to hit its target, and the company’s software increases the goal as you go.
The large sum will go to Monroe Carrell Jr Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee and help create a patient area called “Hey, I’m Here For You Teen Lounge. ” Donations also come from fellow celebrities Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey.
