There was a Wicked reunion on Broadway last night!! Original stars Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel reunited on stage during the encore of the latter’s current Broadway show Redwood on Thursday night (April 3) at the Nederlander Theatre.

During the encore after the show, there was an opportunity to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDs, with Kristin and Idina performing their iconic duet of “For Good” from the second act of Wicked. Keep reading to find out more… When Kristin came on stage, they two shared a big hug and she said, “I just had to say something, I saw the show tonight.

I’m not okay. They should charge extra as people leave, you’d make more money. Just saying, it was very, very touching.
