Kris Boyd reckons Aberdeen's horror run is getting to a point that serious questions need to be asked of Jimmy Thelin. The Swede arrived in Scottish football in the summer and got off to an incredible start that had the supporters dreaming of a title fight with Celtic after matching Brendan Rodgers' men stride for stride in the opening part of the campaign.

But the wheels have dramatically come off in the Granite City and it is now a run of 12 games without a win after a 3-0 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox.Former Ibrox striker and pundit Boyd branded their performance at Ibrox as embarrassing after goals from Hamza Igamane and a added-time double from Leon Balogun and Cyriel Dessers made it 11 wins and one draw for the hosts from 12 home games this term.

Boyd produced the facts and figures behind the run that ultimately saw Barry Robson lose his position at the Dons and compared it to Thelin as he insisted they look passive and they've lost the intensity they showed in the early part of the season.Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: "This run is now getting to the stage now where you are going to ask some serious questions.

You look at Barry Robson. He won four out of 14 and lost his job. This is no wins in 12 now for Jimmy Thelin and because you started the season really well."There might be an acceptance for the Aberdeen fans to sit and clap their team off but that was embarrassing.
