This week’s episode of the Last Dance featured a special appearance from the late Kobe Bryant. The documentary-style miniseries tells the story of Micheal Jordan’s historic sports career, centering on the 1997-1998 season of the Chicago Bulls.
During the series, Bryant sang Jordan’s praises in an interview. “It was a rough couple of years for me coming into the league because at the time the league was so much older; it’s not as young as it is today, so nobody was really thinking much of me,” the late NBA superstar began. “I was a kid that shot a bunch of air balls.” The episode also featured footage from the only time that the two superstars would face one another on the court.
