King Charles III and Prince William won’t be backing down when it comes to giving Prince Harry what he wants — at least not according to the latest sources.

With the coronation just about 70 days away now, all eyes are on the royal family as the world waits to see if they will (at least temporarily) make amends and join forces for the patriarch’s crowning in May.

Unfortunately, those close to the family don’t see a lot of hope moving forward. Speaking to DailyMail.com on Friday, sources described the predicament as a “toxic stalemate,” with one person adding: Uh oh… Related: Camilla Taps Diana’s ‘Favorite’ Designer To Make Her Coronation Gown According to sources, “save the date” cards are expected to be sent to guests in two weeks.

There will only be 2,000 attendees as opposed to around 8,000 that were invited to Queen Elizabeth II’s ceremony.
