Alison Steadman has branded Prince Harry a “disgrace” after he criticised the Royal Family in his book Spare. The 76 year old actress, arguably most famous for playing Pamela Shipman in Gavin And Stacey, has said the Duke of Sussex should “shut up," adding that she cannot even bear to look at the memoir in bookshops.
Alison made the comments as she discussed meeting King Charles - then still the Prince of Wales - in 2019 through her role as ambassador for Marie Curie, a charity that cares for people diagnosed with terminal illnesses.
The organisation is close to her heart as they cared for her mother, Marjorie, at their hospice in Liverpool when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 1994.
