One royal expert believes that King Charles made a "big mistake" when he evicted his son Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Frogmore Cottage and reportedly offered it to Prince Andrew.
Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed that they received a "requested to vacate" their UK home, which reportedly left them "stunned" and other members of the royal family "appalled".It is believed the royal residency was offered to disgraced Prince Andrew after the King insisted he must leave his current 30-room home Royal Lodge, however Andrew claimed he won't be forced out of the property - where he has lived for more than 20 years.King Charles controversially step asked both Harry and his wife Meghan to leave their UK base behind for good, following the publication of Harry's bombshell memoir Spare last year.
According to royal expert and historian Dr Tessa Dunlop, many royal fans were pleased about the King's tough stance with the Sussexes, reports The Mirror .
But she said that the move went against that of his late mother Queen Elizabeth, who tried to keep Harry on board adding that the "optics are terrible".She told the Mirror: "Britain's response to the news has, on the whole, been gleeful.
