Sam is the eldest of Princess Margaret's four grandchildren, which include his younger brother Arthur Chatto and their two cousins, Charles Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley and Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones.
His parents are Margaret's daughter Lady Sarah Chatto and her husband Daniel.The couple married in July 1994 and also have a younger son named Arthur.
