King Charles is said to have been "genuinely disappointed" at Prince Harry's speedy dash back to the United States on Saturday.

Following his jubilant Coronation, the newly-crowned King, 74, raised a glass to the fourth birthday of Harry’s son, Archie. The toast was made at a family lunch that took place at Buckingham Palace following the two-hour ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

An invitation to the lunch was extended to the Duke of Sussex, 38, but he snubbed it in favour of jetting back home to California to catch the tail-end of Archie's birthday celebrations.

Prince Archie turned four on Saturday, 6 May and spent the day with his mother, Meghan Markle, 41, and sister, one year old Princess Lilibet, at their Montecito home.
