London’s West End brought to a standstill as no live performances were allowed to go ahead. As plans begin to reopen the doors of theatres across the country, some of the new health and safety measures being put in place have been revealed.
It’s reported the cast and crew of new musical Sleepless in Seattle – based on the 1993 classic movie starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan – will be tested for coronavirus every day during rehearsals and the run of the show.
Kimberley and Jay who star in the musical in its leading roles will be among those tested on a daily basis using a kit called FrankD – standing for fast, reliable, accurate, nucleic-based kit for Covid-19 diagnostic detection.Testing will be carried out on site and results will be sent.
