Caitlyn Marie Jenner (born William Bruce Jenner; October 28, 1949) is an American television personality and retired Olympic gold medal–winning decathlete.
Jenner played college football for the Graceland Yellowjackets before incurring a knee injury that required surgery. Convinced by Olympic decathlete Jack Parker's coach, L. D. Weldon, to try the decathlon, Jenner won the men's decathlon event at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, setting a third successive world record and gaining fame as "an all-American hero".
Given the unofficial title of "world's greatest athlete", Jenner established a career in television, film, writing, auto racing, business, and as a Playgirl cover model.
Caitlyn Jenner's views on prison reform have reportedly 'disturbed' Kim Kardashian. The 71-year-old former Olympian recently announced her bid for Governor of California and she has been sharing her thoughts on Twitter - which are very different to Kim's.
She made a tweet about 'dangerous criminals' in the streets, which Kim is 'not happy about', according to TMZ. Caitlyn penned to her followers: "This is horrible and also avoidable.
Gavin's District Attorneys across California are releasing dangerous criminals back on to our streets. Enough is enough. #RecallGavin." Her tweet was in response to a story about a man who killed a seven-month-old and allegedly been arrested twice this year for domestic violence, before being released.
