Kilmarnock Women’s boss Jim Chapman conceded his side were poor as they fell to third place in the SWPL2 table following a 1-0 away defeat at Livingston.
In a game of few chances and played in horrific conditions, Livi’s Courtney McAvoy proved to be the matchwinner as her 25-yard strike just before the hour mark flew over Ellie Currie for the game’s only goal.
Chapman said: “We expect more. There was a severe lack of quality, although you can put that down to the conditions to some degree because it was a poor game. “I think we have a right to be disappointed because we know we can do better than that.
Our decision making and execution on the ball was poor and that’s why we’ve ended up with a poor result. “Give credit to Livingston because they deserved it but we made it difficult for ourselves.
