His films are characterized by nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter, aestheticization of violence, extended scenes of dialogue, ensemble casts, references to popular culture and a wide variety of other films, soundtracks primarily containing songs and score pieces from the 1960s to the 1980s, alternate history, and features of neo-noir film.

Fox, is getting a new and remastered 4K edition to coincide with its 20th anniversary at the end of 2023, Lionsgate revealed.
No details have been revealed yet on the potential extras and added footage that version may or may not include. The announcement comes at the same time that the studio revealed distribution rights to both Kill Bill films and Jackie Brown, giving the company the largest portfolio of Quentin Tarantino movies, including Reservoir Dogs, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight and Death Proof.
