Families can enjoy a unique day out exploring the world of animation at a special city centre event this November. Manchester Animation Festival kicks off with fun activities and the best family-friendly films from around the world at HOME cinema on Sunday November 12.
Kids will have the chance to create fun stop-motion projects, learning the same techniques used in hit films including Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run.
There will also be two Lego animation workshops and the chance to watch CBBC and CBeebies shows, as well as a screening of children's film Kensuke's Kingdom.
Manchester Animation Festival's family day begins with a free event - the BBC family boxset. There promises to be shows for kids of all ages, not forgetting parents, inlcuding Hey Duggee, Bluey and Monster Loving Maniacs - all courtesy of BBC Children's.
