The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's travel and logistics officer has been handed a special award by the Queen as part of her New Year Honours list.

Tifare Alexander is part of Kate and William's small team of staff, and has worked closely with the Cambridges for eight year.

The Fijian-born former Paratrooper has been photographed driving Kate to official events and if often hard at work in the background.

Tifare joins George, Charlotte and Louis's nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, to make up the family's small household. To recognise his hard work, he has been made a Member of the Royal Victorian Order (RVO) by the Queen.
