Kevin Hart to Star in Tim Story’s Netflix Comedy ’72 Hours’

Angelique Jackson Kevin Hart and director Tim Story are betting on their comedy chemistry by teaming up for a new film at Netflix.

The project, titled “72 Hours,” stars Hart as a 40-year-old executive who hopes to save his flailing career by joining a group of twenty-somethings on a wild three-day bachelor party after he’s inadvertently added to their group text.

Writers on the new project are Matt Mider & Kevin Burrows, Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg. “72 Hours” is produced by Hart’s Hartbeat, Davis Entertainment, Counterbalance and Will Packer.

Ross Fanger executive produces. The film is being produced under the existing partnership where Sony Pictures offers Netflix a first look at films it intends to make for streaming.
