Kevin de Bruyne transfer 'options' revealed as Man City star set for key deadline

The 33-year-old is into the final 12 months of his deal at the Etihad and will be free to discuss a pre-contract agreement with overseas teams from January 1 onwards.
But The Athletic reports that City have only "loosely" discussed De Bruyne's future at the club, though the six-time Premier League winner is said to be attracting interest from clubs in the United States and Saudi Arabia.
The report adds that if De Bruyne was to leave City at the end of the season and move to the Saudi Pro League, he would "almost certainly" join one of the league's PIF-backed clubs.
The Athletic, however, adds that De Bruyne could end up signing a 12-month extension with Pep Guardiola's side, who he joined from Wolfsburg in 2015.
