Pep Guardiola does not expect to have any more players back to face West Ham. Jack Grealish and Kyle Walker returned to the matchday squad at Leicester to reduce the number of absentees after they had eight missing for Boxing Day, but there are still a number of stars missing.

The West Ham game on Saturday is likely to come too soon for any more players to come back, although Matheus Nunes was not definitively ruled out.

City's manager said that Ruben Dias is 'getting better' and that Ederson had 'trained better' this week with his first training session without disturbance in his leg for some time.

However, neither are expected to be back in time. Rodri and Oscar Bobb are long term injuries and John Stones has also been out after being substituted at Aston Villa before Christmas with a recurrence of his foot injury.
